My name is Gizelle.

I have a BA from Mount Holyoke College in African-American and African Studies and a minor in Journalism (2012), and an MFA in Poetry from University of Florida (2017).
My poetry and non-fiction have been published or are forthcoming in Muzzle Magazine, Kinfolks Quarterly, Blackberry Magazine, The Offing, For Harriet, Moko Magazine, and elsewhere.
I have provided editorial assistance for Subtropics, The Jeli, and Journal of Undergraduate Research.
